Exactly what I wanted. Small, well-built keyboard with MX Greens. This is a fantastic switch, definitely prefer it over the Clears that I used for more than five years. I am not into the stock keyboard case it ships with, but this was always going to be transferred into the wooden case I already have, so it did not even matter when ordering. It looks nice, though. Stock keycaps are okay, but I will be replacing those with PBT ones soon. And one other note; this unit seems to have a lot less keycap wobble, compared to my older ISO-Pok3r with the Clears.
Amazing keyboard, likely my end-game keyboard.
I have just recently received the keyboard and I will say upon initial inspection it is beautiful. I really like the feel of the key caps, the cherry brown switches are great, and the weight of the keyboard is very sturdy. However, my first problem was the wear of the keyboard seemed used. I have not seen many other Pok3r keyboards but the branding that is underneath the keyboard was smeared almost as if the ink was smudged in production. It's a small aesthetic complaint so I could look past since I normally do not look under the board. The other problem was that the stabilizers were not lubed. This is a little disappointing and it produces a nasty sound, especially with the space bar. This is a very easy fix but, as a precaution I would get some lube when ordering so you can fix the small issue. Overall, the keyboard is still very nice and I plan on using it for quite a long time assuming it does not wear down quickly.
Been using MX browns for over five years and finally purchased a keyboard I've been wanting for a long time. This keyboard is great , though if I could give it a 4.9 I would. The only reason I wouldn't give it perfect is my unit came with an incredibly squeaky space bar and other stabilizer based keys. Though personally I do not mind lubing the keyboard up my self but a keyboard at this price should be pre lubed. Types amazing and feels amazing, Purchased the MX Clear version.
A note to take about this keyboard is I believe the keycaps for this keyboard have now been changed, I had hoped to have the same keycaps as the one in the promotional pictures, but the ones provided now are identical to the ones used on the Pok3r RGB variants. This could be a deal breaker for some as the new ones aren't as nice as the OG ones in my opinion..
Well, it is a pok3r. Very solid, nice aluminum case, 3 layers for programming, and just overall a good board. However, the keycaps are thin ABS. What else would you expect from a pok3r?
