  • good

  • I have owned several keyboards over the past decade and this is by far my favorite. I opted for Cherry MX Black switches and am very pleased. The clean white lighting is very calm and professional looking and the overall look of the keyboard is stunning. I have received numerous compliments from my colleagues about the appearance of the keyboard and no complaints about noise!

Updating the firmware on the keyboard was a bit difficult as the update on Ducky's website was in a .rar format. Upon unzipping it, it comes through as a .ex format (which is a compressed .exe format). I had to find a Reddit guide to help run a string of commands through windows Command Console to extract and run the file, but once that was completed, all was good.

I did also have to very intentionally press the USB-C cable into the housing in order to have the lights activate. I noticed a few other users on Reddit with the same issue. The keyboard will work without the cable fully inserted, so you may need to press a bit harder than you think originally.

All in all, fantastic purchase and very worthwhile. You think you have tried a Mechanical Keyboard until you try a Ducky.

  • Looks and feels so so good. When I first got it, I noticed that it was a bit off-white or more of an eggshell color instead of a stark white. I started immediately looking past that after turning on the bright white LEDs (with the lighting effects, and how much you can manipulate each setting). Past the off-white color, the feeling of the keyboard is super satisfying. I got the MX silver switches, and the sound alongside how smooth it is makes for a really really good option if you're in the market for a keyboard

  • This keyboard looks flawless and plays oh so well with Mx silver switches. Feels so perfect when you put your hand on it. The DCS keycaps are perfect. I love this keybaord for gaming/playability. This is hands down the most solid, comfotable, best playing, and most beautiful keyboard I've ever had. For $104 you can't beat it I promise. I prefer playing with this over my Vortex Race 3 RGB priced at $169. I am giving it 4 stars due to one huge flaw in my opinion is that programmed function keys like volume up/down, play/pause, and next/previous are not programmed already on the default profile. You have to switch to a profile and create macros for these functions which isn't easy and the instructions aren't too freindly. This flaw can be overlooked as it does not detract from the actual functionality of the board.

  • I think it's the best keyboard in the world.

  • I've purchased several keyboards from MechanicalKeyboards.com, but I think I finally met my match. I love all-white backlighting on keyboards and just got this Ducky One/2 tenkeyless with Cherry MX Silver switches and white LEDs on a white frame. This thing is gorgeous! I can't believe it only cost $104. My only, very minor, gripe is that it came with a purple ENTER key. No white key cap was included, but I have some spares from other keyboards. Swapped it out and all is great.

  • I just got this keyboard a few days ago and am loving it so far. I ordered mine with MX Black switches and it was a great choice. The switches feel smooth. I also own a KUL keyboard with MX Clears and a Corsair keyboard with MX Reds, but this Ducky is my favorite of the three. It's a great deal for the $ and I would order it again. It also came with the year of the dog spacebar, which was a nice bonus :)
