The keyboard itself feels good, and the topre clone switches are a pleasure to type on. The 35g actually feels a lot closer to 45g cherry reds with a small but noticeable tactile bump. A few of my keycaps came slightly misshapen but the overall quality and thickness of the caps is nice.
I will say that the windows key is warped beyond what I would consider "tolerable"
With the programming software I was able to apply a second layer to accommodate my preferred typing language (colemak) and everything seemed smooth.
Then I started noticing that some of my keys weren't registering properly during some typing tests and a couple of more intense gaming sessions. Specifically the "B" key. I also noticed this key is raised a bit above the rest, and I have taken and put the cap on properly several times. This makes me think the switch itself or the housing is somehow messed up.
The specs list this keyboard as having "6 key rollover" but in reality, much like most noppoo oem boards it has n-key rollover with 2-keyboard emulation. I found that even adhering to the specified 6 key limit several keys would act up. Specifically the X, Q, and B keys. I have recorded a video that shows the keys that have issues, sometimes not actuating at all or sometimes flickering in actuation. I will be contacting customer service about what to do, but as of now I cannot leave a positive review due to the keyboard not really functioning well as well a basic keyboard.
Love this keyboard. I've got a bunch of cherry mx brown and clears at home and was looking for a quite keyboard to use at work and was always interested in the electrocapacitative ones. This is a really good price compared to the leopolds and hhkbs but I think those have a 45g activation vs the 35g in this keyboard. Overall, the feel is great, but the 35g activation means that it'll activate very very quickly. The activation point is also fairly early on so you can type really quickly without bottoming out the keys at all. Key travel is a little bit on the shallow side so if you like bottoming out it'll happen earlier and a little less satisfying. It is very quiet though and it's got a great feel. Definitely recommend!
