  • very hot keyboard, a little disappointed that it didnt have backlighting but the board looks so cool im happy without

  • Perfect gift & it's a stunning keyboard! I got the blue switches & my boyfriend likes how it sounds :)

  • When you buy a VA87M with a cool design you don't get backlit LED, but if you buy one with a generic design you do, kind of backwards though process but what a waste of a keyboard

  • Great sounding and looking keyboard. Disappointed because I assumed they had white backlighting. Only the Caps Lock has a white backlighting that is on when caps lock is on.

  • Don't get this keyboard. It has a really loud and annoying ping sound every time a key is pressed. Also make sure to read up on the return policy because you will have to pay for return shipping and something called a "restock fee". I wasn't going to pay for return shipping and the "restock fee" so I'm just going to deal with the ping sound and maybe use lube. My friend got the "Ducky x Varmilo MIYA Pro Koi 65% Dye Sub PBT Mechanical Keyboard" and it had no ping sound. I don't know how they made it differently, but maybe because it was made with Ducky.

  • I wanted a pretty keyboard, and this one was great! Everything works well, except for one thing. On mac, the windows key doesn't switch to the command key. There is no command key, which kind of sucks since it said that it was mac compatible and I don't want to remap command to control, capslock, or alt. If you're a mac user, just beware of this fact :) Otherwise it's a lovely keyboard and if you're not on mac 10/10 recommend :)

  • one of the best keyboards I have ever used stock, the stabs sound great and the board looks really good and deserves a higher rating honestly. Underrated board.

  • There is no twang whatsoever when these keys bottom out, so I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about. The spacebar is a bit loud but it goes THUD, not twang. The keys are absolutely stunning and feel really nice to type on. Absolutely lovely keyboard.

  • I was drawn to the ocean theme and style. I ordered with the Cherry MX switches. Solid keyboard with excellent touch. Very happy with the keyboard at a replacement to a Kinesis that was too large for my hands.

  • While the keyboard is very pretty, there is a very annoying twang sound when anything is touched on the keyboard. It's lowkey driving me insane, and shows that Varmilo did not do enough QA on this keyboard set.

  • great keyboard, great art, and sounds amazing

  • Giving it two stars for the unique artistic style of the keyboard.
The keycaps feel good but when they bottom out, there is a metallic twang. This is very annoying when trying to use it in quieter environments.
These keyboards used to come with a foam pad to prevent this but they have stopped providing it anymore. Definite step down and not nearly worth the 126$ price tag.
