  • beautiful keyboard truly but im a little confused on why the caps lock key is the only one with LED in it and not the whole keyboard, not much of a gripe since the only reason I ever used an LED keyboard was to see the keys in the dark. this is truly a beautiful piece of art

  • This keyboard is a work of art! I could not stop staring at it. The build quality is super heavy and the fine attention to artistic detail is incredible.

But.BUT. I could not get over the resonance from this board's all-metal base construction. This is far-and-beyond the typical ping you'd expect from non-lubed switches. (Mine were Cherry Browns). The design of the inset metal base plate creates such a loud, echo-y, melodic noise. even with the lightest of touches. It sounds like you're playing a steel drum. It's loud enough that my partner could hear it from the hallway as he walked by my office.

It feels incredible to type on, and I simply have never seen a more gorgeous board, but the noise became so annoying that I returned it for a different model. Not sure if all Varmilos are like this, it was such a disappointment.

  • Bought several (6 ) MK's this year. Fantastic, beautiful, fast (Cherry Silent Reds)-- one of the best keyboards made by man, period.
