Alright, so, I really like this keyboard, I do, I think it's great.
But it has one glaring issue that needs to be addressed.
It's the key switches. A handful of key switches on my keyboard were half-broken. They weren't registering inputs properly. They registered only ONE key press at a time, so if you were playing a game and held W, you'd go forward a tiny bit and then immediately stop. Not only this, but sometimes it would register 2-3 presses at once, when you only pressed it one time!
I had to fiddle around with them and swap the key switches around, making sure to put the bad key switches with the keys you never really use, and the good switches with the ones you DO use.
Please check the quality of key switches before selling this to people.
After owning this keyboard for about 5 months now, I have to say that I'm really pleased with this keyboard and enjoying the block of cheese colorway, and it's definitely gotten me into the custom mechanical keyboard hobby.
I had one little problem with a few of the switches sticking but a quick request to MechanicalKeyboards.com ended up getting this resolved pretty quickly, and really enjoying this keyboard.
I'd give this a higher score if it was easier to open up the case so I can deal with the hollow sound probably due to the plastic case. I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the other custom keyboards I've played around with. Still a very good board.
It feels nice and I enjoy the keyboard a lot.
Unfortunately, the F2 key does not work which I actually needed.
I decided to just bind F2 to a macropad because I didn't feel like going through the trouble of taking all the switches out again to send it back for a new one.
A 5/5 if not for the F2 key, so if you get one with no issues it's a solid buy.
