Really great board. I got it with the cherry red switches and it sounds super nostalgic. My girlfriend even likes listening to it. =D

It's the best keyboard i've ever used! These lubed Cherry MX Silver Switches heard very qualitatively and the keycaps looking great!

I am using the silent reds on this and typing feels like butter! Only complaint is the colored key caps are transparent when the lights are on

I had this keyboard for only a month and the middle key row has malfunctioned. It will just type random buttons in the middle row or even the number row which renders my keyboard useless. I checked to see if there was any damage or sticky keys but it goes down smoothly and types like usual. No water damage has been done either so I'm not sure what is going on.

This is a great keyboard. It's pretty low, so you probably won't need a wrist rest. The combo of keycaps and MX Silvers gives a very good feel and sound; smooth and damp, not light and clacky (like another keyboard I recently assembled). I managed to drop mine off my desk when I was taking it out of the packaging, and bent the aluminum case a little, but it bent back with a little encouragement and has been problem-free. The "floating" nature of the keycaps (that is, the bottom of the keycaps are not covered by the case) makes cleaning the keyboard with compressed air very easy. My keyboard came with colorful keycaps installed on Shift, Ctrl, Alt, Win, Fn; a spare set of grey keycaps for these keys, and spare Caps Lock and Scroll Lock keycaps that had a transparent window.

I would not recommend this keyboard to users who are looking for stunning backlight performance. The LEDs are "south-facing", i.e. on the user side of each switch, so if you bend down and look under the keys you are looking directly at them. I haven't had a problem with this, but I imagine they could be a little blinding if you like to prop your keyboard up or something. The colorful keycaps don't look great with the LEDs turned all the way up--you can really see the molded ribs around where the switch head presses into the keycap--but the white and grey keys seem to be totally opaque. Finally, the lettering on the keycaps is not transparent, and even with the LEDs turned up you might have a hard time reading the keycaps in a dark room. As far as I can tell, there are no fancy LED macros, and of course the LEDs are white, not RGB; so if you're looking for a keyboard that can display funky backlight patterns, this isn't the one.

This is a really nice quality board.
The colors are even better when you see them in person. I was worried I would get tired of the colors but they also with an extra set of gray keys to replace them in case you need to take a break from all of the colors.
Varmilo definitely feels like quality. Weighted very nicely and the a very solid and uniform typing experience.
My caps keys did come with a little clear plastic line.
I use it as a developer and in Linux/MacOS/Windows without any problems.

Nice keyboard. However, the Firmware kind of sucks, because it will not work correctly in ChromeOS (function keys don't align to anything correctly) and apparently will never work in OSX due to N Key Rollover. I can tolerate it in ChromeOS, and the keyboard is otherwise fantastic. If you're in Windows or Linux, you'll be fine, but if in Linux you may have to make some changes regarding the FN mode for function keys to act like F1-F12 instead of multimedia keys.

Fantastic Keyboard, I've had it for roughly a year now and it has held up incredibly well. The only issue I have is that I cant see if the caps lock is on and i have to physically get above my keyboard to see if its on or not because the caps lock keycap never came with the clear plastic piece shown in the photo to see if its on or not, this makes a big difference and annoys me quite a bit. If it didnt have this problem the keyboard would be a 10/10.
